Terms of Use

You must be at least 13 years old to use Waysport. The app asks for your birthdate during sign-up specifically to enforce this, and account creation is blocked below that age. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use Waysport.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at waysportanalytics@gmail.com if you think your account has been compromised.

You keep ownership of the video clips, descriptions, and messages you submit to Waysport ("your content"). By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and store your content solely to provide the service back to you — generating your analysis, archetype match, and coaching feedback. We don't use your content to train our own models, and video clips are deleted automatically right after analysis (see our Privacy Policy for exactly how).

You confirm that you have the right to submit whatever you upload, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights. Don't upload footage of recognizable professional or currently-playing athletes for analysis — Waysport is built to analyze amateur players, and clips that don't meet that are rejected and deleted automatically.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract Waysport's underlying models, prompts, or source code.
• Circumvent the free-tier weekly analysis limit or any subscription gating by technical means, including by creating multiple accounts.
• Choose a display name that's offensive, hateful, or impersonates someone else. Display names are visible to other users on the leaderboard, and we may change or remove any that violate this rule.
• Use another person's account, or impersonate someone else when submitting content or chat messages.
• Upload content that's unlawful, abusive, or that you don't have the rights to.
• Use Waysport in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair how it functions for other users.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your scouting report, archetype match, mechanics score, drill plans, and AI Coach Chat responses are all generated by AI models and are provided for informational and training purposes only. They're not a substitute for guidance from a qualified coach, trainer, or medical professional, and we don't guarantee their accuracy. You're responsible for exercising your own judgment — including about your own physical condition — when following any drill or piece of feedback Waysport gives you.

Waysport is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the NBA, the WNBA, any team, or any player. Player names appear only to describe which shooting style your form most resembles; these comparisons are algorithmic estimates for entertainment and training purposes, and don't imply any relationship with, or approval from, the players named.

Waysport offers a free tier with a weekly limit on analyses (currently 4 per week, resetting every Monday), and an optional Pro subscription that unlocks a higher weekly analysis limit (currently 20 per week), AI Coach Chat, the matchup simulator, custom coach styles, and personalized 7-day drill plans.

Pro subscriptions are sold only through the iOS app, billed and processed by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled; manage or cancel yours anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Free trials.New subscribers may be offered a free trial (currently 7 days). If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and your App Store account is charged the price shown at sign-up, then renews automatically each period until you cancel. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, and trials are limited to one per Apple ID.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies — we don't process payments or refunds directly. This website doesn't sell subscriptions or process payments; it reflects free-tier functionality only.

From time to time, we may grant temporary Pro access through a promotional code — for example, to beta testers — independent of an App Store subscription. Access granted this way isn't a purchase: it isn't billed, and it isn't eligible for a refund since no payment was made. It expires automatically at the end of its granted period and doesn't auto-renew.

We may modify or revoke promotional access at our discretion, including before its stated expiration, without notice.

You can stop using Waysport and delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete Account), which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Waysport is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated analysis will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waysport and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or website, including any injury sustained while following a drill or piece of coaching feedback. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it can't lawfully be limited.

We may update these Terms as Waysport changes. We'll update the effective date above when we do, and make a reasonable effort to notify you if a change is material. Continuing to use Waysport after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
